For the past 25 years, Mango’s Tropical Café has remained one of the ritziest and most iconic venues in South Beach. Located on world-famous Ocean Drive, it serves up great cocktails, a wide selection of live music, and lively dance parties until five in the morning. Now, this Miami Beach staple is seeking to bring its unique tropical flavor to Orlando.
Set to open this October on the intersection of International Drive and Sand Lake Drive, Mango’s Tropical Café Orlando will be modeled closely after the original South Beach location, which is recognized as being among the top-grossing bars in the nation. Given the big shoes it’s got to fill, the Orlando version aims to offer the best of New York City class and upscale South Beach style.
Developed by Wallack Holdings, Mango’s Tropical Café Orlando will cost $50 million and span 55,000 square feet, making it one of the largest new clubs on the street. Like its renowned South Beach sibling, it will combine a restaurant, nightclub, and dinner shows, featuring a wide selection of drinks and authentic global music. There will also be a continuous rotation of stage shows, dance parties, and live DJs across its multiple bars.
In short, Mango’s Tropical Café Orlando may well become one of Orlando’s ultimate entertainment destinations. Even world-famous entertainer Armando Christian Perez, better known as Pitbull, is putting his support behind this exciting venture. The fact that South Beach flair is becoming so trendy beyond South Florida says a lot about what this vibrant coastal community has to offer!
