Yesterday we discussed how Fort Lauderdale continues to gain favor among buyers and investors seeking new opportunities at much better prices. The momentum of the market shows no signs of stopping, as evidenced by the announcement of the 50th new project set to emerge in the upscale Las Olas neighborhood. Since the building cycle began in 2011, the number of proposed units in Fort Lauderdale—currently the largest city Broward County—has increased to almost 3,300.
As for the new building that will mark the 50th new project in the city, it is called One 24 Residences and will stand five stories tall within the waterfront community of Hendricks Isle, located north of frequently traveled Las Olas Boulevard and part of the Las Olas Isles. The building will have a total of six units and is perfectly located near the downtown area and the Fort Lauderdale beaches. One 24 Residences is one of thirteen new boutique style condominiums containing fewer than 115 units set to be built in the Las Olas Isles.
Five new buildings with just over 50 units have already been built in Fort Lauderdale Beach and the downtown area, and there are 16 more on the way with fewer than 450 units currently at different stages of completion.
