Announced earlier this year, One River Point in Miami consists of a pair of 60-story buildings designed by globally renowned architect Rafael Viñoly set to be built near the Miami River. Some of Viñoly’s projects include the Tokyo International Forum and the Cleveland Museum of Art expansion. As for One River Point, the building has received considerable attention thanks to its unique floating glass “sky-bridge” that connects the two buildings. The building will be constructed on a park near the river and is the first South Florida project by developer Kar Properties.
Amenities at One River Point will include an infinity edge pool plus a lap pool found on a sixth-floor amenity deck, a restaurant complete with butler service, a cafe by the poolside, a fitness facility, private cabanas, and a med spa. A major highlight is the members only Sky Club on the 55th floor, which will have a pair of restaurants, a wine cellar, a screening room, and a cigar lounge. The club is designed to provide an experience similar to other posh clubs like New York’s Core Club, the Soho House in London, and the Jockey Club in Beijing, China.
Prices for units at One River Point are expected to range between $750,000 to $12 million though the penthouse and villa may cost more. Groundbreaking for the project is expected to kick off next year.
